Smoky Mountain Biking

Guided rides, group events, and clinics on the best trails in the Smokies.

Our Biking Program

Built by Riders,
for Riders

Tucked between the Smokies and the Cherokee National Forest, the trails around Hartford, TN are some of the most beautiful in the Southeast. Our guides grew up riding these woods — from flowy singletrack along Foothills Parkway to rooty climbs deep in Cosby. We built this program to share our favorite miles with people who love to ride, whether you're clipping in for the first time or chasing KOMs.

Where We Ride

The Trails

From rolling ridge-top gravel to rooty Appalachian singletrack, the trails around Hartford, TN offer something for every kind of rider. Our guides rotate between four of our favorite systems — each one within an hour of the shop, each one a little different.

  • Foothills Parkway

Wide, scenic gravel with the Smokies rolling out to the north. Perfect for a first ride or a recovery spin. Stunning overlooks at every gap.

  • Cosby

Old-school rooty singletrack beneath an unbroken canopy. A favorite for technical riders — climbs, descents, and creek crossings.

  • Tsali

Classic Smoky Mountain loops on the edge of Fontana Lake. Smooth flow trails with lake views — our pick for intermediate groups.

  • Cherokee National Forest

Endless miles of Appalachian trail just south of the border. Longer rides, bigger climbs, bigger payoffs.

Why Ride With Us

Local, Small,
All Levels

We're riders. Every guide on our team rides these trails weekly — most of us have been riding them for years. We keep groups small, pace them by ability, and know exactly where to stop for a view, a swim, or a snack.

Talk to a Guide

Local Guides

Every ride is led by a guide who lives, trains, and races on these trails. You'll get route intel, history, and the kind of small-talk only a local can deliver.

Small Groups

We cap group rides at eight and clinics at six. Smaller groups mean more coaching, more singletrack time, and zero waiting at the trailhead.

All Skill Levels

First ride? We'll take you on a green loop and build your confidence. Seasoned racer? We'll chase a black diamond and earn the descent. Every group is paced by ability, not by ego.
